Donald V. Strook

Donald Victor Strook passed away April 21, 2016 in Phoenix, AZ at the age of 70 of heart failure.  Donald was born on December 8, 1945 in Hustisford, WI. the son of Victor and Gladys (nee Brendemuehl) Strook.  He graduated from Hustisford High School, and was President of his 1963 graduation class.  After graduation, he went to school to become a barber.  He worked in a barber shop in Whitefish Bay for several years, before moving to California where he worked as a manager at The Hyatt Regency.  Donald later moved to Phoenix, and worked for the Chase Bank Corporation, until his retirement.

Donald served his country in the National Guards and in the Reserves for 10 years.

Donald is survived by his sisters, Carol (Raymond Eberhardt Jr.) Wiersma of Iron Ridge, and Maureen (David) Hansen of Hartford.  One brother Kevin (Linda Goehre) of St. Francis, a niece and nephews.

Donald was proceeded in death by his parents, and a brother-in-law Howard Wiersma.

A Graveside Service will be held Sunday, May 15, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Hustisford Cemetery, Hustisford, WI.
