Dorothy T. (Beine) Marks

Dorothy T. Marks of Neosho passed away Thursday, October 13, 2016 at the age of 87 years.  She was born on November 11, 1928, the daughter of Andrew and Eleanore (nee Kraemer) Beine.  She grew up on the Beine family farm in the Township of Hartford.  Dorothy worked at West Bend Aluminum, where she met her future husband, Wilbert.  They married August 22, 1950 at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church in Hustisford.  After they married, Dorothy dedicated her life to being a homemaker and raising her children.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and she took great pride in her vegetable garden.  She displayed her produce at the County Fair with the 4-H Club.  When there was spare time, Dorothy learned to play the accordion and enjoyed playing with other family musicians.  Her faith was very important to her and she was a longtime member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church.  Dorothy served the Church as a member of Bethany’s Ladies’ Aid. 

Dorothy is survived by her loving children, Dale (Gladys) Marks of Burnett, Kathryn (Royce) Maaske of Hartford, and Marilyn Marks of Neosho.  She is also survived by her precious grandchildren, Jenny Maaske of Oconomowoc, Christopher (Melissa) Marks of Waukesha, Timothy Marks of Madison, and Samuel Marks of Burnett.  Dearest sister of Andrew (Evelyn) Beine, Jr., Richard (Karen) Beine, Walter (Ann) Beine, Norman (Diane) Beine, and Fred (Donna) Beine, Helen (Jerry) Koepp, and Marian Martin and sister-in-law Anola Beine.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert, her sister Marcella Wondra, her brother Rueben Beine, by her brothers-in-law Douglas Martin, Leo Wondra, and Robert Jackson, and by her infant daughter Dorothy.  Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Visitation is Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 3-5 p.m. at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church in Hustisford.  Funeral service will follow at Church at 5 p.m.  Rev. Joshua Kesting will officiate.  Interment Hustisford Cemetery on Monday at 10 a.m.  Memorials to Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church would be appreciated.
