Janet A. Babcock of Juneau passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2016 at home, with her loving husband Ed of 55 years at her side.  She was born April 18, 1937 in Hustisford, Wisconsin, the daughter of Howard and Marie (nee Goecks) Eckes.  She was a graduate of Hustisford High School, and married Ed in 1960 and lived in Hustisford until they moved to Juneau in 1965.  She was a long time member of St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church and served with the Ladies Aid and was a past president.  Janet worked for several local companies, in their business office. 

 

Janet is survived by her loving husband Ed, her dearest son Kevin (Nancy) Babcock of Connecticut, her precious grandchildren  Matthew (Karen) Babcock of Connecticut, Mallory (fiancée Brian Johnston) of Connecticut and her precious great grandchildren Mackenzie, Quinn, and Cameron.  Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.   She is preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers Lawrence and Jerry. 

 

Visitation is Monday, January 26, 2016 from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church- Juneau.  Funeral Service will follow at church at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Paul Hirsch will officiate.  Interment Hustisford Cemetery. 

 

Memorials to St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church Ladies Aid would be appreciated.
