Of Hartford passed away at the age of 55yrs, Friday, November 13, 2015 at Zilber Hospice in Wauwatosa after an extended battle with cancer. She was born July 27, 1960 in West Bend, the daughter of Robert and Patricia (nee Palash) Detunq.
Kathy grew up in West Bend and graduated from West Bend East. She was very compassionate person who worked in numerus work places as a care giver. She worked for the EMS in Hartford for 13 years. Kathy was an AWANA Leader at Faith Alliance Bible Church. Her involvement with her church took her on several mission trips.
She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis, of 30 years her mother, Patricia Detuncq of West Bend, her sister Elizabeth (Mark) Wergin of West Bend, Michelle (Jeff) Werner of Hartford, and her brother Peter (Rebecca) Detuncq of West Bend, her sisters and brothers-in-law, Irene (Jerome) Seybold of West Bend, Dolores Wild of Menomonee Falls, Gladys Sachse of West Bend, Arlene (Michael) Barron of Slinger and Mary (Dewayne) Butcher of Hartford. Also surviving are nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Kathy is preceded in death by her father Robert Detuncq, a great nephew Bryce Wergin, her father and mother-in-law Louis and Rosie Wild, her brothers-in-law, Jerome and Joseph Wild and Fred Sachse and sister-in-law Anita Kratzke and nephews Edward and Andrew Brust.
Visitation is Wednesday November 18th from 4-7pm at the Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home-Hartford. Funeral service will follow at 7PM at the funeral home. Rev. Stephen Fletcher will officiate. Internment Thursday at 10AM at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford, WI.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the family would be appreciated.
