Lillian J. (Griffith) Woehler

Lillian J. Woehler, age 90 of Hartford, WI. formerly of Rockford, IL passed away in her home on December 12, 2016.  She was born the daughter of Ruth and Donald Griffith in Belvidere, IL.  Lillian graduated from Rockford East High in 1943.  She attended the University of Michigan.  Lillian married Gordon B. Woehler in 1947.  She was an Administrative Assistant to the President of Wales Beech Corporation from 1948-1979.  She was employed as Secretary to the Board of Directors Rockford Park District.  Lillian was also President of Wayco Products, a company she co-owned with her husband Gordy.  She was always involved in her children’s lives as room mother, Girl Scout leader, Cub Scout & Weblo leader.  She was an excellent seamstress, and loved her flower garden.

Lillian is survived by her sister Shirley Niles, sister-in-law Lela Griffith, daughter Vicki (Stan) Bressler, son Robert Woehler, Grandsons, Tye Bressler, Ryan (Stefanie) Bressler, Brandon (Katie) Woehler, Nicholas (Arielle) Woehler, Great Grandchildren Brysen, Josey, Kora, Eli, Carly, Nicholas.  She is preceded in death by her husband Gordon, and brother Jack Griffith.The funeral service for Lillian will be Friday, December 30 at 1:00 p.m. at Centennial United Methodist Church 1503 Broadway Rockford, IL.  Rev. William Wentink will officiate.Interment Scandinavian Cemetery, Rockford, IL.
