My deepest sympathy. I'm sorry I missed the service as I just learned of Benny's passing at mass today. I will always remember Tuesday night cards at my house with the Wagner clan and how much I enjoyed hearing stories that Benny would tell. I swear I knew him for years before I found out his name was Oscar. Rest easy my friend.

I am truly sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. I hope the Wagner family will find some comfort and strength in Jesus promise of the earthly resurrection (Acts 24:15, John 5:28, 29) and the renewed Paradise earth, where death is an enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26) that will very soon be eleminated forever, and no family will mourn the death of a loved one (Revelation 21:3,4). This promise has been given by Almighty God Jehovah (Psalms 83:18). Truly, what a glorious and almost unbelievable day that will be! It's a reality though for God cannot lie (Titus 1:2). I will always remember Oscar/Mr. Wagner generously let his daughters, Heidi and Jolene (the wild and wacky Wagner girls), and Sister Michelle (me), use his car during spring break for the notorious 1992 Panama City Beach/Pensacola Florida trip.

I hope someday soon that your tears will turn to laughter when you think of Oscar. My condolences to Heidi and the entire Wagner family.

So sorry to hear on the passing of Oscar. Since Kevin's phone call I have been thinking about all the fun times at the Wagner house on Pike Lake--from ice fishing, watching racing, playing cards, and the list can go on and on. I can remember on a particular Sunday morning when "Benny" introduced me to squirel meat on a kaiser roll. Thank you "Benny" for putting up with us and all of the life lessons you taught us, RIP until we meet again!! Rich Roemer & Family
