Robert Donald Webster passed away Sunday May 7, 2017 in Lake City MN at the age of 94. He was born October 4, 1922 the son of Robert & Sylvia (nee Marx) in Oshkosh, WI
He served in WWII, after the war he went to the University of LaCrosse where he meet his wife Eva Faye Harder, they were married August 30, 1948. They have 3 children, Rob (Kathy) Webster of Ripon WI, Kathy Jo (Jim) Rodester of Lake City MN and Jeff (Bambi) Webster of Randolph, WI. Seven Grandchildren, Terry Webster, Candie (Kevin) Baker, Mystie Eve Webster, Gabe (Amy) Burke, Kristin (Ben) Jordan, Dan (Liz) Webster, Jasmyn Burke, along with 13 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
He taught 9th grade algebra in Beaver Dam for 35 years, along with teaching hunter safety for 50 years, was active in Ducks Unlimited. He taught golf and was the golf pro at Old Hickory for 10 years, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was the Sunday school superintendent for First Luther in Beaver Dam for several year.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, one brother Richard Webster, sister-in-law Elly Webster along with another sister-in-law Kitty Berner and a brother in-law Jim Berner.
Family will receive relatives and friend, Friday May 19th from 10 to 11 at First Lutheran Church, 311 W Mackie St, Beaver Dam; memorial service will follow at the church at 11. Rev Terry Larson will officiate. The Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home of Juneau is serving the family.
