Robert J. Zehren of Hartford went on his final journey into the sunset October 1, 2017.  Born in Shawano WI on July 21st, 1932, the beloved son of Armand and Genevieve (nee Passineau) Zehren.  He is the cherished best friend & wife of Laura (nee Soschinske) who will dearly miss her favorite sidekick of 64 years.

Veteran of the U.S Marine Corps of Korean Conflict, he proudly wore his Jarine hat every chance he could.

He was a dedicated /honored employee of Evinrude Motors (OMC) for 34 years.  His kindness and compassion for others, earned Bob the highest award for humanitarian service as a member of the Montello Lions.

He exemplified everything that was good in a man; a dear husband, a sweet father, a loving grandpa, helpful neighbor, and a friend to many, including animals of all kind.   Bob will be fondly remembered for never missing the opportunity to make people laugh or to pull a prank.

He was well known in Montello as the Modern-Day Sanford & Son collecting vintage gas pumps and old Ford tractors which he loved to restore.

The proud and loving father of Laurie, Judy Towey (Blake) Janice Elger , extra proud Grandpa of Sara Pfeffer, Robert  (Rebecca) Towey , Michelle (Jake) Homulos, Brittany (TJ) Sands, Nick Elger and 4 precious great grandchildren.

Bob will be honored on Monday October 9th at the funeral home from 3:00 -5:30 p.m. Memorial service will follow at the funeral home at 5:30 p.m. Private Interment.
