Susan M. (nee Krygier) Scherer

Susan Mary Scherer age 69 of Hartford passed away peacefully at home Monday January 8, 2018.  Susan was born on May 7, 1948, in Milwaukee, WI., the daughter of Steven and Caroline (Corinne) Krygier.  She was united in marriage to Roland Scherer on June 28, 1969 at Immaculate Heart of Mary in West Allis.  Her greatest joys in life were her faith and her family, especially her grandchildren.

Susan was preceded in death by her infant son, Anthony, her sister Sharon, and her parents.  She is survived by her husband Roland, daughter Kristie (Al) Scherer-Jaworski of Slinger, and her sons, Steven Scherer and Nicholas (Becky) Scherer, both of Hartford.  She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Dominic (9), Isaac (8), Samuel (8), Abigail (5), and Caroline (2).  She is further survived by her sisters, Mary Krygier of West Allis, Darlene (Earl) Lecher of Milton, and Corrine (Al) Cates of Milwaukee.

Visitation is Saturday, January 13, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until noon at St. Kilian Catholic Church 264 W. State Street, Hartford, WI. Mass of Christian Burial will be at noon at the church with a reception to follow.  Fr. David LaPlante will officiate.  Burial will take place on Monday, January 15, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Highland Memorial Park 14875 W. Greenfield Avenue New Berlin.
