Andrew Charles Poch of Hartford, a child of God, was called home by his heavenly Father in His infinite wisdom on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at the age of 28. He was born February 19, 1981 in Fond du Lac, the son of Jeffrey and Judith (nee Iserloth) Poch. He became a child of God at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Plymouth. Andy attended Luther Preparatory High School and received a bachelor’s degree from Carroll College. He married Leigh Ann Lobbestael on June 7, 2008 at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Hartland, and became a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Hartford. Andy worked alongside his father at JLP Transport, Inc. and was a very vital part of the family business. Andy loved the outdoors; he was an avid hunter and fisherman with his loyal retriever Moss by his side. He also loved playing football and baseball in high school and college. Andy lived his faith daily and had outstanding morals and character.
Andy is preceded in death by grandfather Charles Iserloth in 2006. He is survived by his loving wife,
Leigh Ann Poch of Hartford, his beloved parents Jeffrey & Judith Poch of Horicon, his dear sister Jennifer (Kevin) Lauer of Hartford and his niece Hayden Lauer. He is also survived by his father-in-law Frank (Maria) Lobbestael of Michigan, his mother-in-law Sue (Tom) Labatzky of Michigan, his sister-in-law Lisa Lobbestael, his grandparents Gordon and Viola Poch of Plymouth, and his grandmother Laura Iserloth of Glenbeulah. Andy is further survived by many adored uncles, aunts, cousins and cherished friends.
Visitation is Thursday January 28, from 5-8PM and Friday, January 29 from 9-11AM at Luther Preparatory School, 1300 Western Ave., Watertown, WI. Funeral service will follow at 11AM at Luther Preparatory School chapel. Rev. Paul Schupmann will officiate. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Plymouth, WI.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Luther Preparatory School or St. John’s Ev. Lutheran School in Juneau would be appreciated.
