Was very sad to read that Dr White passed away last year. He was our family Dr. He took such good care of my babies and encouraged me to breastfeed even when things were not looking good for me to do do. Such compassion and gentleness he showed all the time. May he rest in peace and may God comfort all your heart's. What a great loss for all of us .

I am very fortunate to have known Mike White. He was a Great man. We have all benefited from having known him, and the people around him are better people because of him. He left a path for all of us to follow, both for his family, and friends. I hope and pray to see him again in Heaven.

We send Dr. White's wife and children our deepest sympathy and promise of prayers and Masses. We were patients of his father, Dr. Gregory White for over 20 years and now currently patients of Dr. Joseph White. We have been deeply blessed by Our Lord for His bringing the White family into our lives. We live in suburban Chicago, and our children hold Dr. Greg close still in their hearts. We know of his children through his dear mother, Mary White & involvement in LaLeche League for many years. God love you all and thank God for the life of Dr. Michael.

It took me some time to realize that measuring myself against Mike did not reveal shortcomings in my character, but the exceptional quality of his. He will be missed and I am sorry I cannot join the family in person for his service.

Debbie
I don't know if you remember me but I know you as I lived in Winsted and married Terry Jorgensen. I wanted to reach out to you and express my sympathies. My brother is going through the same horrible cancer your husband had. We will be following the same journey you just went through. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. If you ever feel up to reaching out to me, I would love to talk to you. If not I totally understand. 612-749-4184. Shelly and Terry Jorgensen

Sincere sympathy to all of the family of Michael White. While I never had the privilege of really knowing him, I feel that I do somehow. The regular posts have shown me the power of prayer and the miracle that was his life. It also showed me that the power of the human spirit is only surpassed by the love of Our Saviour, Jesus. Rest In Peace.

How can life be so tragic and blessed at the same time?
Mike has "won the race," and is happy with our Lord, Jesus ..... looking with love down upon and waiting for all of us,
but oh, how our hearts will ache and miss him everyday .....
We send our love to all of you!

We deeply regret hearing about the loss of Dr. Mike White. What a beautiful tribute to a very talented and kind man. What a very rich life he had, his talent, comfort, joy in life, and compassion will be missed by everyone he touched. Our Condolences to the entire White Family, and the many extended family branches that were blessed in the gift of his life. May his wife Debra, their children, extended family, and grand-children, and his siblings and families ~ find solitude - in a life fully lived. Heaven is much brighter today.

Mrs White and family, my deepest sympathy
Dr. White was an amazing physician and kind person. I had the pleasure and privilege to know him while an RN at community memorial and I am so thankful for that. I asked him once if I could do some clinical hours with him for my masters degree and he very honestly told me that he promised his wife he would not take on any more. After reading his obituary, now I really understand what he was saying. He was a true blessing and touched so many lives. God's blessings and peace to all of you

March 26, 2017 5:29 AM

In 2012 Dr. White became our family doctor. Dr. Whites views and support surrounding breastfeeding, co-sleeping, attachment parenting, and many others were the main reasons we were so drawn to him as a doctor. We loved his office, especially watching the beautiful birds outside the window. It was such a great comfort to us to be given Dr. Whites home phone number and have the ability to call him whenever we really needed him. Dr. White made us feel like family whenever we saw him. The love and positive energy that Dr. White emitted will forever be missed. Following his journey over the past 3 years has taught our family so many important lessons. The biggest one being his ability to love God and peacefully accept the horrible suffering he endured. Most people would be filled with anger and complaints at being dealt such a lousy card in life. We could go on and on but let us conclude. We are eternally thankful for having the opportunity to know Dr. White. We loved him and will never forget him. Our deepest sympathy to Debbie and all his children and relatives. May God lift you up on eagles wings and flood you with his love and peace. May all of us hold on tightly to the amazing love from our Lord that binds us all together. A million blessings and hugs to the White family.

Prayers for comfort and peace to Dr. White's entire family.
My husband and I remember him fondly as our family doctor and brother in Christ.

This may seem silly, but he was the ONLY person that was ever able to draw blood from my husband and not have my hubby turn pale and/or pass out. To us, that meant a lot. Thank you Dr. White!

Our sincere condolences to Dr. Whites family and friends. Karen and I were longtime patients of Dr. White. I remember meeting him for the first time in the ER at Community Memorial Hospital in the early 1990s when Karen was suffering from a severe migraine. Dr. White treated Karen with such kind compassion and when we mentioned we did not have a family doctor, he said well I have an office in Germantown and I would be glad to help. From that day forward until my last visit with him in December 2014 he was our friend and family doctor. I always looked forward to seeing him because of his warm personality and caring nature, even when I didn't feel too well. We really miss him. Rest In Peace Dr. White!

Dr. White was our doctor for 25 years. We have 11 children. As I listened to my children all tell stories of Dr. White - I realized what an indelible mark he has left on each of our lives. As broken as our hearts are over this, we can only imagine the sorrow in the hearts of each family member. Our prayers are with each of you - may He grant you comfort and strength, and draw you close to Himself.

The countless phone calls to his home when one of us was sick, the reduced rates for services, and his demeanor and willingness to take time and explain things - these are all treasures to us - as was his love for the preborn and his encouraging breastfeeding. He was a rare gem in the midst of our bureaucratic, Statist society. How will we ever find a doctor like him again?

Too few men like him in the world - we were honored and blessed to have known him.

Our redemption is found in Christ alone.

May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward of His suffering!
