Jean M. Margraf

On Tuesday, July 2, 2019, Jean Marie Margraf passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family at the amazing age of 83.  She was a loving mother of 3 daughters, grandmother of 13 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.

Jean was born on September 26, 1935 in Milwaukee, WI to Robert and Margaret (Reinke) Voeltner.  She settled down in Richfield, WI where she raised her daughters and worked at Server Products for over 30 years.  Jean loved to gamble, travel, and shop.  She enjoyed watching crime shows, spoiling her grandchildren, and spending time with her family.  Jean also loved her “Girls’ Weekends,” talking about family history and sharing stories with family. She was known only as “Granny” to all of her grandchildren.  She had an awesome sense of humor and enjoyed a good, silent shoulder laugh that was contagious to everyone. 

Jean was preceded in death by her father, Robert, and mother, Margaret, her brother, Albert Hagerman, sister. Lucille Hafeman, grandson, Robert Keskinen, and great-grandson Orville Stout.  She is survived by her sister, Margaret (Jerry) Wolf, along with many nieces and nephews.  She was the beloved mother of her three daughters, Janice (Donald) Bolling, Joy (Billy) Fornwalt, and Jill (John Kall) Margraf.  Granny to Erica, Jessica, Molly, Bear, Ryan, Tiffanie, Brenden, Devin, Rachel, E.J., Shawn, Dustin, and Keith, and also 17 great-grandchildren. 

The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, July 20, 2019 from 12:30 – 2 p.m. at the Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home in Hartford. Memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. Interment Forest Home Cemetery, Richfield, WI.
