John G. Armentrout

John G. Armentrout, age 28, of Juneau passed away unexpectedly on May 17, 2017 as the result of an automobile accident.

John was born on December 1, 1988, the son of Margaret and John Jr. Armentrout in Rhinelander, WI.

John enjoyed hunting, fishing and listening to country music.  He enjoyed working with his hands as a carpenter and building and working with animals.  John’s favorite class as he grew up was history and he was a Civil War buff.  John grew up playing with army guys and he always knew he would serve his country.  John served in a tank regiment in the U. S. Army from 2007-2014. 

John is survived by his parents, John Jr. and Margaret (Davis) Armentrout; one brother, Eric; one sister, Victoria; his girlfriend, Kaytee Reith; his paternal grandparents, Sandra and John Armentrout Sr.; his maternal grandfather, William Davis and several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.

John was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Barbara Davis in 2013.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to the family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Justmanns Lanes, 150 East Oak Street, Juneau, WI on Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 11:00 AM until 4:00 PM.
