My sympathies for Sylvan's passing. We were classmates. I enjoyed playing cards with him on the bus. I remember Sylvan as being very athletic; he was the free-throw champ, an excellent basketball and baseball player. He was a 'doer', not a watcher. That is how I will always remember him.

Dan - sorry to hear of your dad's passing. But God thought it was time for your dad to come home and your dad heard God saying - Sylvan - it is time for you to come home and so your dad went home. I know the pain it leaves the love ones still here on earth - At one time or another we endure this kind of pain losing someone we love - but with memories we have of the loved ones who have gone home - we get through the difficult times. Memories are wonderful - God Bless you Dan and your family.

Dan and Family, I'm so sorry to hear of Sylvan's passing. He was always a part of Neosho. You forgot one thing in the Obituary (but you won't know this). He was a fabulous skater. It was always so much fun to watch him spinning and whirling on the ice rink on those cold winter evenings. Again, my deepest sympathy.
