On Saturday, September 23, Albert E. Seckinger, a beloved husband, passed away at the age of 86 years old. He was born to Albert and Marie Seckinger in New York.
Al attended Marquette University and worked many years as an electrical engineer at Harley Davidson. After taking an early retirement, he started his own business Lake Shore Engineering. He enjoyed family and friends, a good cigar and bourbon, and was very proud of his German heritage. Al lived most of his life in Glendale and Fox Point, Wisconsin and later moved to Town of Erin after retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth, of 27 years, his step-daughters Karla (Manuel) Valencia and Katherine (William) Sinsky, and granddaughter Vivian Valencia. Also survived by his siblings, Anita Seckinger of California, Margaret (Donald) Lacefield of Texas, Michael (Sue) Schick of Florida, and nephew Michael Schick, Jr. of Florida. He is proceeded in death by his parents and previous wife, Ida Marie.
Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 28 held at Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home in Hartford, Wisconsin, with a praying of the rosary at 6:30 pm. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 29, 2023 at St. Theresa at the Basilica of Holy Hill, Hubertus WI. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Al’s memory to St. Mary of the Hill Parish.
