Alice Catherine (Wellner) Saputo

Alice Catherine Saputo, born June 30,1931 to George Wellner, Sr. and Theresia (Soeller) Wellner.  She grew up in Cadott, WI until about 1945.  She then moved to Milwaukee to continue her schooling. She later taught in Skofield, Plover and Warsaw, WI. She also taught for over twenty years in the Milwaukee Public Schools, until she retired.  She married Louis Saputa about 1973 and lived in Hubertus, WI.

She is survived by her sisters Doris Wellner, Chippewa Falls, WI, Mae Boeger, Burlington WI, Rose (James) Ebert and brother, George (JoAnn) Wellner Jr.  and other friends and family.  Those who preceded her in death are Louis Saputo, sisters Theresa Witt, Lorraine Foiles and an infant sister.  Born to eternal life Jan 21, 2024 at the age of 92.

Visitation will be held from 10-11am on Monday, January 29, 2024 at St. Mary of the Hill Chapel, 151 Carmel Rd., Hubertus, WI.  A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 11:00 am., Fr. Jude Peters O.C.D. will officiate.
