Christine Buchholtz Obituary
Christine Buchholtz was born on May 4, 1940 in Germany. She died on November 16, 2024 at the age of 84. Christine was survived by her daughters Monica (Roger) Gastrow and Jackie (Scott) Agbuis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Buchholtz and daughter Mary-Lou Buchholtz.
Christine came to the United States in 1959 when she was 19 to marry Jerry. She studied the Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses and along with Jerry, dedicated their lives and were baptized in 1972. Christine shared her love of what she had learned with everyone she met. She had a very generous spirit, loved people and her ministry. Other interests included travel, baking, and playing cards and games.... especially Yahtzee and Aggravation. Christine had a Bible based hope for the future. She is awaiting the resurrection to life in the promised paradise on Earth. That hope is found at Revelation 21:4 where it says: “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
Family will receive relatives and friends Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 1-2p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, 520 Kettle Moraine Rd., Hartford, WI. Memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. Minister Tom Lyon will officiate. Private interment.
