Dale Flowers (nee Raduechel), age 68, passed away on July 6, 2025, in Hartford, Wisconsin. Dale was born on November 18, 1956, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Howard and Ethel Caroline (nee Mestyán) Raduechel.
The first 11 years of Dale’s life were spent in Milwaukee, until the family moved to Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, in 1967. There, Dale attended Longfellow Junior High School and then Wauwatosa East High School, Class of 1975. On June 15, 1985, Dale married the love of her life, Jeffrey Merlin Flowers, at Mount Carmel Lutheran Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Dale and Jeffrey made their home in Hartford, Wisconsin, for the entirety of their marriage. They did not have children, but very early in their marriage, they acquired a Yorkshire Terrier puppy, which they named Precious Little Miracle. She captured their hearts to such a degree that they never had another pet of any kind.
Dale had a lifelong interest in TV and movie stars, and starting in her teenage years, she tenaciously pursued celebrities through various creative ways of gaining their attention. She had an exceptional talent for photography and often captured candid photos of her favorites performing and backstage. She met many stars over the years, such as Donny and Marie Osmond, the Osmond Brothers, Mac Davis, Don Ho, Dolly Parton, Jack Klugman, and undoubtedly her favorite, Carol Burnett.
It was through Dale’s interest in TV and movie stars that she met her husband, Jeffrey. Dale and her hobby were featured in an article in the Milwaukee Journal INSIGHT magazine, April 24, 1977, issue. Jeffrey read the article and was quite impressed with this young lady. He wrote a letter to Dale sent by way of the newspaper. The couple corresponded for some time, and then when the first phone call finally happened, it lasted 12 hours.
Her interest in performers was nearly equal to her enthusiasm for politics, most recently in her support of the GOP and President Trump. She often wrote to her congressman, expressing her concerns and supporting conservative policies.
In the spring of 2015, during a crisis, Dale prayed fervently for God to please send help. The next day, two young missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints knocked on the door. Dale’s fervent prayers were answered through the efforts of the members and many missionaries over the course of these ten years. Dale and Jeffrey especially enjoyed it when the young missionaries affectionately called them “Mama & Papa Flowers.” Both Dale and Jeffrey have long been faith-filled people. As such, they chose to become baptized members of the faith on July 11, 2015. Dale loved the members, and they loved her.
Dale’s warmth, loyalty, and sense of adventure enriched the lives of those around her and left an indelible impression on everyone she met.
Dale is survived and is missed by her husband of 40 years, Jeffrey. She is also survived by her mother, Ethel Raduechel, her sister Dawn (Doug Loew) Raduechel, and her brother-in-law Randy Flowers. She is further survived by her cousins, John (Fay) Boie, Chuck (Luann) Boie, Peter (Mary) Pfaff III, and Gregg (Connie) Pfaff.
Dale was preceded in death by her father, Howard Raduechel, brother, Donn Raduechel, father-in-law, Merlin Fredrich Flowers, mother-in-law, Elizabeth “Betty” Jane (nee Benser) Flowers Newton, brother-in-law, Todd Flowers, aunts Louise (Alvin) Boie, Ann (Wally) Roth and Pauline (Peter) Pfaff, and cousins Douglas (and Renee) Roth and Pamela (nee Roth) Roberts, Michael Pfaff and Marilyn (nee Pfaff) Zipter.
