Dortha Ann (nee Turner) Waldbillig

Dortha A. Waldbillig (nee Turner) of Hartford, entered into Eternal Life, Friday, March 19, 2021, at the age of 88 years.  She was born December 8, 1932, in Mondovi, WI, daughter of Bert and Selma (nee Rud) Turner.

Dortha worked for St. Michael and St. Joseph’s Hospitals for many years. When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed knitting and baking and also trips to the casino or playing cards.

She is survived by her sons, John (Wendy), Terry (Cindy), Curtis (Shelley) and daughter Julie (Brad). Eight grandchildren; Amber, Jory, Brittany, Brady, Ben, Abbey, Curtis and Ashley.  Eight great-grandchildren; Autumn, Emmory, Willow, Haylee, Madison, Tristan, Ronin and Orion.  She is also survived by her brother, Raymond Waldbillig (Peggy) and other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Dortha is preceded in death by her parents, Bert Turner and Selma Aase (Rud), her husband Jerome Waldbillig "Jerry" and her son Jerome Waldbillig "Jay".

The family would like to give special thanks to the caring staff at Horizon Hospice (Claire) at Froedtert Hospital and caregivers from Visiting Angels (Tammy, Mary, and Chris).

A Celebration of Dortha’s life will take place at Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home, 226 S. Main St., on Wednesday, March 24th, 2021.    Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:30 am. With the service to follow at 11:30 am. 

In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorials to ‘Feeding America’.
