Fr. Anthony R. Haglof was born in 1939, son of Charles and Constnace Haglof, in Hartford, WI. He passed away unexpectedly, in the Carmelite Monastery, Washington D.C. He was professed as a Discalced Carmelite Friar on August 15, 1965; ordained a priest on May 13, 1971; and entered Eternal Life on April 19, 2022.
Fr. Anthony is survived by sister, Linda (John) Trent of Duxbury, MA; his brother John C. (Edwina) Haglof, of Brockton, Ma, his brother Robert (Susan) Haglof of Lakeville, MA; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who loved him and will miss him very much. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Kenneth Francis (Judith) Halgof and a sister Barbara Silveria.
A Private Mass of Resurrection for the Carmelite Community will be held at the Basilica of Holy Hill. Interment at the Carmelite Cemetery
