Henry R. Sigrist Obit
Henry R. Sigrist “Heinie” was born on December 21, 1921. Henry entered eternal life May 14, 2021 after at 99 years old, having live a long and fulfilling life. Henry worked as a farm hand for seven years then he joined the Army. After the army and seeing action in the “Battle of the Bulge” Henry went to Chicago International Harvester, were he spent 57 years. He met his wife Helen (Nee Streuser). They were joined in marriage November 22, 1967. They were blessed with 24 amazing years together. “Heinie” retired to his family farm in Rubicon where he spent many hours reading, taking care of his animals, and tending to the farm. He was a true stoic gentleman.
Henry is survived by his brother Al (Beverly) Sigrist. His sister Marion and two sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Sigrist and Rita Sigrist. He is further survived by 5 grandchildren, serveral great grandchildren, nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Lena (Nee Schlumph) Sigrist. His brother John (Alice) Sigrist, Wally and Paul and Sister Lee (John Schwalbe). Also, his brother-in-law Joe Lanski. His Son Richard Maas and John “Jack” Maas.
Funeral visitation will be held Thursday, May 20th from 4-6p.m. at the Berndt-Ledesma funeral home, 226 South Main St. Hartford, WI. A time of "Celebration of Life" will follow at 5:45 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Private Interment will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Neosho, WI.
