Hildegard A. Otto of Hustisford, was born to Eternal Life, Monday, August 3, 2020, at the age of 94 years. She was born April 8, 1926 in the township of Clyman, daughter of Edward and Martha (nee Christian) Maas. She was baptized, and confirmed at Zion Lutheran School in Clyman and married the love of her life Arnold (‘Speed’) Otto at the Zion Lutheran Church.
Hildegard was a life-long member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, Hustisford. She was a charter member of Bethany Quilters in Christ and sang in the church choir for many years. She enjoyed playing cards, especially dummy rummy and sheepshead. Hilde was a great cook and baker and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her loving children David (Jeanette) Otto, and Rayola Wiedmeyer.
Her sisters Lenore (Allan) Crass, and Dorothy Childers. Also, surviving are 7 grandchildren; David Jr. (Maria) Otto, Sherri (Dave) Hawke, John (Kelly) Otto, Paul (Mindy) Otto, Craig (Mary Jo) Wiedmeyer, Corey Wiedmeyer, and Rick Wiedmeyer, 23 Great-grandchildren; Valerie, Austin, Olivie, Ava Grace, David, Celia, Elise, Lucie, Charlie, Angelina, Travis Jr., Kaitlyn, Ashley, Kayla, Kalsey, Paul Jr., Emma, Natalie, Anthony, Andrew (Layla), Ashley, Brandon and Brayden and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren; Kaia, and Kinsley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Arnold, son Ralph, and 2 sisters.
Visitation is Thursday, August 6, 2020 from 11- 1 p.m. at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, Hustisford, WI. Funeral Service to follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Jonathon Loescher officiating. Interment at Hustisford Village Cemetery.
