Inez N. Feilbach ( nee Brendemuehl) passed away peacefully, Sept. 7, 2024, at Watertown Hospital, following a hip fracture. Inez was married to John Feilbach (Sept 28, 1952) for 72 years. She met John at a Polka Dance in Lebanon, WI. It was a favorite thing the two of them enjoyed doing together. She loved her Lord, and HE helped her through health issues over the years. Inez looked forward to going to church every Sunday and reading devotion books every night before going to sleep.
Inez was a hard worker and she instilled that in her children. She was employed at Heavy Duty and later Durant (Eaton Corp) in Watertown as a machinist and lead person. She then came home to help with farm work, milking cows and fieldwork. After retirement she would take care of her grandchildren whenever needed. She was a volunteer meal on wheel driver and then manager of the Hustisford meal site until she retired from there in 2020. She delivered newspapers in her moped with her dog in the basket, for many years. Inez, self-taught how to crochet, needlepoint and macrame until her wrists and hands couldn’t do it any longer. Inez and John drove many miles to watch their children and grand-children play basketball and volleyball. Recently a favorite pastime was Soduko puzzles, playing Skipbo with grandchildren and those walks with her great-granddaughters through the park. Anytime anyone asked if she wanted to take a ride to the store she emphatically said “SURE”
She was survived by children John (Joan), Jim (Sue), Jerry (Cindy), Janis (Sergio), 11 grandchildren and 14 great-children. She was preceded in death by daughter Joy Lynn and Husband John.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024, from 10:00 a.m.-Noon, at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, Hustisford. Funeral Service will follow at Noon. Rev. Jonathan Loescher will officiate. Interment will take place at Hustisford Cemetery, Hustisford, Wi.
