Janet Marie (York) Verburgt

Janet Marie Verburgt, age 89, passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early morning hours of June 17, 2026. She was born on September 24, 1936, and lived a life deeply rooted in family, love, and quiet strength.

Janet will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who took immense pride in her family. Her positive outlook on life and can-do attitude was an inspiration for all that knew her. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her three sons and their families:

· Tom and Tina Verburgt, and their children: Dylan Verburgt and his wife Emily, Kelly Phillips and her husband Coti

· John and Jenny Verburgt, and their children: Samantha Gumm and her husband Devin, and their daughter Reece, Allie Patin and her husband Zak, and their son Rhett

· Chris and Shari Verburgt, and their children: Jacob Verburgt and McKayla Verburgt

Janet leaves behind six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who brought her great joy and pride.

A service will be held Friday June 26th at 1:00PM at the Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home in Hartford Wisconsin to celebrate her life
