Jason Warner Obituary

Jason Warner, devoted husband, loving father, and respected business owner, passed away on April 1, 2026, at the age 56.  He was the cherished husband of Krista Warner (nee Birr) and the proud father of Aston and Brody—roles he held closest to his heart and lived with unwavering dedication.

Jason adored watching Aston and Brody grow, guiding them with humor and a quiet strength that made them feel safe and deeply loved.  He enjoyed taking long road trips and seeing new places with his boys.  Closer to home, he enjoyed watching them do the things they loved like play sports, build robots, or simply hang out.  With Krista, he shared a partnership built on loyalty, laughter, and the kind of everyday devotion that becomes a family’s foundation.  Krista and Jason enjoyed traveling, laughing with friends and watching their boys grow together.   Jason had a real gift for making the occasional purchase…real estate or vehicle or random object…. that made Krista shake her head, but she knew he just saw a way to further grow their future.

Jason was a veteran of the United States Navy serving from 1989 to 1993. His service to country ended proudly on the USS Nimitz. A ship he adored and later went on to research and study.

From a young age, Jason had an entrepreneurial spirit that had him running paper routes and fixing BMX bikes in his garage. Jason combined this spirit and his passion for flipping cars in his spare time into a calling that shaped his career.  With determination, resourcefulness, and an eye for potential where others saw only an old car, he built a business grounded in hard work and genuine love for the craft. His journey from hobbyist to owner of Continental Motors stands as a testament to his grit, his vision, and his belief that meaningful work starts with doing what you love.  From helping nieces and nephews with their first cars to teaching his value of hard work to his boys, Jason enjoyed being able to use the business he built to benefit the people and causes he loved.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and laughter —one that will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him and in the family he treasured above all else.

In addition to his wife and children, Jason is survived by his parents, Richard and Linda (Marschall) Warner and Barbara and Jerry Rosenthal, siblings, Jodi Schmitt, Thomas Bornheimer and Lynette Preder (Mike), Goddaughter Chloe Schmitt, and many other friends and family members that will miss him dearly.
