Joann Lenore (nee Wallace) Adkins

Joann Lenore Adkins of the Township of Herman, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 82 years.  She was born on February 24, 1939 in Rib Lake, WI, the daughter of Lester and Vera (nee Krueger) Wallace.  Joann was always someone you could turn to and someone you could talk with.  She was always willing to listen and to be helpful.  She was a very strong person who never lost an argument.  Joann was a loving mother, a devoted wife, and a loving grandmother and great-grandmother.  She was the glue for her family and will be deeply missed.

Joann is survived by her loving children, Michael (Kim) Prine, Jerry (Tammy) Rowell, Vicki Adkins, Lisa (Tim) Becker, Hollie Raschke Adkins, Rebecca (Ray) Carlson, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her brothers, William (Peggy) Wallace, Don (Lena) Wallace, Danny (Joann) Wallace and Sister-in-law Diane Wallace.  Also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald, in May of this year, and by her parents Lester and Vera Wallace and her brother Terry Wallace. 

Visitation is Thursday, August 19, 2021, at the Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home-Hartford from 3-5 PM.  Funeral Service will follow at 5 PM at the funeral home.  Private interment.  The Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home-Hartford is serving the family.
