Joseph Charles Dobson

Joseph Charles Dobson passed away Tuesday September 17, 2024 at the age of 78 years old.  He was born the son of Joseph Robert Dobson and Dorothy Helene Tremaine of Cobb, Wisconsin.  Joe applied his passion for young people and sports in his long career as a teacher and coach at Tomah High School and Hartford Union High School.  As a coach, he led many teams over the years to divisional and state championships in basketball and softball.  After retirement, Joe embraced the game of golf with a similar passion and was regular player in various local leagues.

Joe is survived by his two sons, Jay (MaryAnn) Dobson and Jeff (Sanghee) Dobson, his siblings Bonnie Dobson-Lamp, James (Lana) Dobson, and Janet (David) Peterson, his grandchildren Chris, Kyle, Jade, Kiara, Lawson, and Faith, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A Visitation will be held at the Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home-Hartford on Thursday, September 26th, from 5-7 p.m.
