Kim M. (Literski) Neverman

Kim Mary Neverman passed away April 22, 2026 at the age of 60 surrounded by family. Kim was born July 16, 1965, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, daughter of Mary Ann (nee. Wroblewski) and Chester Casmir Literski, and raised in Brookfield, Wisconsin. 
 
As a child, Kim spent time on her family’s farm, bicycling around the neighborhood and participating in cheer and volleyball. She enjoyed spending time with many friends, including her best friend Peggy. Kim graduated from Brookfield East high school in 1983 and continued her education at WCTC for an associates degree. While in school she worked as a pharmacy tech and a caregiver at School Sisters of Notre Dame Elm Grove. She began her career at Prudential/United Healthcare in 1987. She worked there for 30 years. She met many lifelong friends there including the love of her life, Rod. They began dating in May 1989.  
 
In the early years of dating they attended many concerts, car shows with their collector cars, and caribbean vacations in Mexico and Jamaica. Rod knew he would marry Kim from one of their very first dates. On July 3, 1993 they united in marriage at St. Mary’s in Port Washington and honeymooned in the Virgin Islands.  
 
Kim gave birth to their first daughter Rebecca in June 1995. Their second daughter Alexandria followed shortly after in January 1997 during a Packers Super Bowl. In 2000 their love for the lake brought their family to Cedar Lake Hills Subdivision in Slinger, WI. This house was more than just a home. It brought everlasting friendships, endless lake days, and memories that will last a lifetime. Kim enjoyed fishing, neighborhood get togethers, and soaking up the summer sun with Rod and the girls. If you didn’t find Kim at the lake, you could find her in her garden planting flowers or feeding the birds. Her favorite flowers included hydrangeas, lilacs, lilies, and daisies. It was hard to find a flower she didn’t love.  
 
One of Kim’s favorite things to do was travel with her family. When the girls were young, they spent many summers camping at Jellystone Park in Fremont, Wisconsin, weekends in the Wisconsin Dells, and road-trips down to Florida for a beach vacation. Her other favorite destinations included fishing and shopping in Lake Geneva and Door County, enjoying live music and watching sunsets in Key West, walking the beaches in Grand Cayman, and cruising the Hawaiian Islands. As long as the weather was warm you could count her in. Kim believed that life was a gift and always made the most of the days she was given.  
 
In 2021, Kim and Rod moved to Friess Lake to live on the water. Kim liked having a great room to gather with a perfect view of the lake. Many days were spent on their pier, with a line in the water, and a cold drink in their hand. We know she is looking down on us from the lake in Heaven.  
 
In recent years, Kim was given her new favorite title of Nana. She loved her three beautiful grandchildren, Elena, Lola and Donovan. During her battle with cancer, they brought a smile to her face even on the hardest days. In addition to Kim’s grandchildren, her dogs were a constant source of joy and comfort throughout the years. Kim’s passion of being a mom continues to live on through her daughters. She had a warmth that will always be felt by those who knew her, including her daughters friends who viewed her as a second mom. Kim will be remembered for her bright smile, her unwavering strength and her unconditional love.  
 
Kim is survived by her husband and soulmate: Rod; her daughters: Becca (Joe) Zizzo and Allie (Josh) Henderson; her grandchildren: Elena and Donovan Zizzo, and Lola Henderson; her siblings: Karen (Pete) Knepler and Ken (Wendy) Literski; brother-in-law: Dave (Vicki) Neverman; mother-in-law: Pat Neverman; and nieces and nephews: Peter Knepler, Kyle (Hannah) Knepler, Barry Literski, Jayme (Andy) Hoff, Cody (Kate) Neverman, and Brett Neverman. She is further survived by other extended family and many awesome friends.  
 
She was preceded in death by her parents Mary and Chet Literski, Father-in-law Ron Neverman, and other relatives awaiting her arrival in Heaven.  
 
A special thank you to her friend Peggy for the hundreds of cards sent during her cancer journey; to her nurses at the Kramer Cancer Center for her exceptional treatment and kindness they continuously showed; and to everyone who has supported our family during this difficult time.  
 
A celebration of life for Kim will be held on May 30th at Still Waters Church, 3617 Scenic Road, Jackson, Wisconsin, 53027. Family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00 am-12:00 pm, with a service to follow.  
 
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kim’s  favorite charities in her memory, including ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals), St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, and Wounded Warrior Project.
