LaVerne Esther (Wilson) Siejkowski

LaVerne Louise Esther (nee Wilson) Siejkowski was called home to heaven on December 25, 2021, in Brownwood, Texas.  She was born daughter of John and Esther Wilson on September 10, 1927.  She had four brothers and five sisters. Laverne married Alvin Siejkowski on December 29, 1962.  He passed away at the age of 68.

After Alvin’s death LaVerne traveled extensively inside and outside the United States with her daughter and son-in-law Lynne and Wayne Uttke.  LaVerne enjoyed working word puzzles, loved writing poetry and had many published. She also enjoyed reading, watching the birds and other wildlife in rural Wisconsin.

LaVerne is survived by daughters Lynne (Wayne) Uttke and Charlene (Rocco) Greco, her sister Joyce, 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, also, numerous other relatives and friends.

LaVerne was preceded in death by her son Dennis and her brother Keith.

A visitation will be held at 11-1-p.m, January 15, 2022, at the Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home-Hartford; 226 S. Main St., Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m.  Rev. Jerry Greco will officiate.

Interment will be at Elmhurst Cemetery in Antigo WI.
