Marvin “Marty” Ninmann was called to eternal glory in the early hours of January 12th, 2023. Marty was born in Hustisford, WI on November 10, 1946, the son of Reuben and Anita (Genz) Ninmann. He grew up in Clyman and Hustisford and graduated from Juneau High School in 1965. He enlisted in the Navy and served as a Corp Medic from 1965-1969. After leaving the service, he got a job working for Chicago Northwestern (Union Pacific) railroad where he worked for 38 years. On September 2, 1972, he married his best friend, Julie (Abel) and last year they celebrated 50 years of marriage together. Marty loved his family. Some of his favorite things to do were fish frys in the garage, campfires in the yard, and spending time with the grandkids. He spent numerous hours on the road traveling to various activities his grandkids were involved in from sporting events to graduations. He also loved fishing, camping, going to Door County and hanging out with friends at the local establishment. Above all he loved his Lord. Marty was a Christian husband, father, grandfather, and friend. As he would say “I’ll tell ya what,” this past year was a real struggle, but through it all, his faith remained strong and believed that God had a plan. Marty is preceded in death by his parents Reuben and Anita, brothers Oliver Ninmann, Howard and Jean (Falkenthal) Ninmann and in-laws Hilmer and Ruth (Zank) Abel. Marty leaves behind his wife Julie (Abel) Ninmann, sons Justin and Jodi (Floyd) Ninmann, and Adam and Katie (Haizel) Ninmann, brother Edgar and Florence (Wagner) Ninmann, and grandchildren Cassidy, Riley, Harlow, and Axton.
