Mary Eileen Theisen passed away peacefully on January 14, 2026, at the age of 75 years.
Mary was born into the busy Allenton farming family of Walter and Victoria Theisen (nee Schellinger). Mary worked hard to complete her schooling and earn her LPN license. She was proud of her nursing career, working in hospitals and elder care facilities until her retirement. Faith was important and she was well-connected with her church family at Mary Queen of Heaven parish. It was here where she shared her love of Jesus by shepherding little ones in the Religious Ed program for 20 years. Mary was a kind soul who cherished her relationships with family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. She included her loved ones, as well as those in need, in her daily prayers.
Mary is survived by her siblings Walter, Robert (Joan), Kathy Vogelsang (James), Annette Mueller, Gene Theisen, and Jude Lengell (Greg). She is also survived by nieces and nephews of several generations as well as other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her dear fiancé, Edward Schultz, her parents and beloved Godfather, Rev. John Theisen, brothers James (Linda) and John (Ginny), sisters-in-law Carol (Walter) and Peggy (Gene) as well as many others dear to her.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary will be celebrated Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Parish, 1025 S. 7th Avenue West Bend, Wisconsin 53095. Family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m.-3:45p.m. Interment-Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha, WI, Tuesday, January 27, 2026, 11:00 a.m.
