Maryann E. (Aufdermauer) Otte

Maryann E. Otte, (nee Aufdermauer), age 90 of Hartford, Wisconsin (formerly Rubicon), entered Eternal Life Sunday, January 26, 2025, at Majestic Heights, where she resided for the last 6 years.

Maryann was born September 7, 1934, in Woodland, WI to Mary (Dias) and John Aufdermauer. She graduated from St. John Catholic High School, Rubicon. Maryann was united in marriage to Clarence Otte in 1955 at St. John Catholic Church where they were lifelong members. Maryann enjoyed cooking, knitting, and playing cards.

Maryann will be deeply missed by her loving daughters, Emily Bublitz (Dale Clark) of Jefferson and Agnes (Gerry) Schultz of Neosho; cherished grandchildren, Melanie (Aaron) Kutz, Megan (Brian) Weber, Amy (Chad) Osmus, Amanda Becker, cherished bonus grandchildren, Andy (Lindsay), Aaron (Natalie), and Alex (Jessica) Schultz; cherished great-grandchildren, Kinsley, Brynnly, Zakary, and Hadley Kutz, Tenley Patterson, Levi Weber, Taylor (Derek) Wegner, Garrett (Emily) Osmus, Lily, Emma Krohn; and cherished bonus great-grandchildren, Dylan, Jordyn Osmus, Fletcher, Truman, Sinclare, Wayde, Westyn, Corbin, and Taytum Schultz. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Maryann was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Clarence; and brothers, Elroy, Elmer, John, and Earl Aufdermauer.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Maryann to the Dementia Society of America or to a charity of one’s choice are appreciated.

To honor Maryann’s wishes, a private service was held for immediate family with interment in St. John Catholic Church Cemetery, Rubicon.
