Maureen A. Kluever passed away at the age of 65 on October 1st, 2026, surrounded by family.
Maureen was born October 6, 1960, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Rosemary (nee Milton) and Donald Weidensee. She was united in marriage to Timothy J., Kluever on July 28th, 1990.
Maureen had an adventurous spirit and a love for life that remained strong even as MS began to limit her mobility. She treasured family vacations, including a trip to Door County with her granddaughter and riding with her husband, especially their anniversary trip to the Grand Canyon. She spent 20 years working as an accountant at Ralph’s Towing, though teaching was always close to her heart. She loved moose, lilacs, coffee, chocolate, and Christmas—her 2nd favorite holiday. She could happily settle in with Murder, She Wrote or a good natural disaster movie. When her body could no longer keep up with her adventurous spirit, she kept her mind busy reading, doing Sudoku, and coloring. Even in her final days, she found joy in playing games with her grandchildren. Above all, she was a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen, and a reliable source of advice—whether you asked for it or not. Her family will remember her for her strength, her adventurous heart, and the many ways she continued to show up for the people she loved. While she will be deeply missed, there is comfort in knowing she is riding shotgun on the golden highway with her beloved husband once again.
Maureen is survived by her three daughters Jessica Kempfer, Jennifer Kluever, and Katherine (Shawn) Parks. Grandchildren Annabelle, Lauryn (Sawyer), Xavior, Hayden, Seth, Alana, SJ and Roman. Along with two great grandchildren, Hadley & Dawson. She also leaves behind two brothers and her beloved dog Trouble. Along with countless nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by her husband Timothy, her parents Rosemary & Donald, her in-laws Gordon & LouAnn and her sister Allison.
Good night, God bless, take care, sleep well, sweet dreams. We love you very, very much.
Family will greet relatives and friends Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. -3:45 p.m., and funeral services for Maureen will begin at 4:00 p.m., at the Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home, 226 S. Main Street Hartford, Wisconsin 53027.
