Mieczyslaw “Miet” Rozanski, loving husband, father, grandpa, and great-grandpa, passed away March 31, 2026 after 100 years of a life lived to the fullest. He was the life of the party, the leader of a family, and an inspirational light to anyone who got to witness how he approached life’s beauties and challenges.
No matter what, Miet pushed forward with motivation. A World War II survivor, he studied medicine, served in the military, built two beautiful families, and enjoyed a successful career as a doctor. His skill, passion, hard-work, and perfectionism helped numerous patients who he remembered fondly long after his retirement.
After retirement, he pursued his dream of becoming an American and spent his time learning English, making wine, and gardening. His garden will be continued and tended to by his daughter and son-in-law. He loved to share his passion for travelling, learning, and adventure with children and could always be found at a dinner table sharing stories and wisdom from his experiences. If there was an opportunity for a plane ride or road trip, he was the first to say yes (if he was not the one organizing it).
Most importantly, for the infinite moments where he will be deeply missed, there are infinite memories and special moments that his family and loved ones hold in their hearts.
