Patricia L. Nordskog, age 82, of Germantown, Wisconsin, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
Patricia was born December 4, 1943, in Tigerton, WI, to Mary K. (nee O’Dell) and Anthony E. Swanke. She grew up and resided in Tigerton until college. She graduated with a Bachelor of Education from the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point. Pat taught home economics at Bonduel High School, where she met Marvin C. Nordskog. Pat and Marvin were united in marriage on June 9, 1973, at Holy Hill in Hubertus, WI and held their reception at the Fox and Hounds. They moved to Germantown, WI where they would raise their family and become longtime members of St. Boniface Catholic Church. Pat was very involved at St. Boniface, where her children attended grade school. Pat became a stay-at-home mother and the afterschool care taker and chauffer for many families over the years. Family was Pat’s entire world. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and genuine joy; she relished being a mom and grandmother. She will be remembered fondly of her selflessness, generosity, and hospitality. Pat enjoyed beautifying her yard with flowers and home which was warm and welcoming and always festively decorated for each holiday. Pat attended her grandchildren’s school and sporting events as much as able and never missed an opportunity to make each of their favorite baked goods. She was a dedicated baker who loved to feed everyone, perfecting chocolate chip cookies, frosted brownies, yum-yum and pumpkin bars, zucchini bread and her Thanksgiving apple pies. Pat had a loving heart for animals and on occasion would find a rescue what would become the next family pet. Some of her favorite memories were lunch outings with her friends and countless cherished summers spent at the family cottage in Shawno.
Pat is survived by her husband of 53 years, Marv; children, Eric (Angela) Nordskog, Mary Kay (Mark) Davies, and Maggie Nordskog; and grandchildren, Paul (19), John (17), Margo (14), Kathryn (12), Luke (10), and Rebecca (7). She is further survived by many cousins, other relatives and numerous friends.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents and infant sister, Kathleen.
