Paul P. Thielmann went to his heavenly home on Monday, December 19, 2022, at age 80. He was born the son of Walter and Patricia (nee Draper) Thielmann on April 2, 1942. Paul was married to Nancy D. Campbell on June 12, 1965, at Holy Hill Basilica in Hubertus, Wisconsin.
Paul owned and operated the Family Business - Thielmann and Son Heating and Air Conditioning in Hartford, Wisconsin for over 35 years. He was a long-time member of the Hartford Country Club, and he enjoyed his golf rounds with his foursomes over the years. He was a Member and a Past President of the Hartford Lions Club and was also, a Melvin Jones Award Recipient (highest honor in Lion’s Club). Paul was inducted into the Hartford High School Football Hall of Fame in 2013. He founded and was Charter President (current) of the Hartford Oriole Football Captain’s Club since 1970.
Paul had a great zest for life. He was always one for a good story or funny joke. He enjoyed his Friday Fish Frys and a good Wisconsin Brandy Ol’ Fashioned. He was an avid fan of the Packers, Badgers, and Brewers. You could also find him in the stands watching his Grandchildren’s sporting events.
Those left to cherish his memory are his two Sons - Scott (Anne) and Rick (Gina) Thielmann. Grandchildren - Josephine, Jillian, Michael, and Brooke. Sister - Judy Fraser-Ryniec (Lou) and Brother - John Thielmann. Brothers-in-Law - Lou (Judy) Ryniec and Scott (Jan) Campbell. Sisters-in-Law - Sally and Jan Campbell. He is also survived by many Nieces, Nephews, Other Relatives and Friends.
Paul was preceded in death by his Beloved Wife, Nancy. His Parents - Walter and Patricia, Brother - Thomas Thielmann and Brothers-in-Law - Bill Campbell and Sam Campbell.
Visitation is Thursday December 29th, from 3-7PM at the Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home, 226 S. Main Street Hartford, WI. Mass of Resurrection id Friday December 30th at 10AM at St. Kilian Catholic Church, 264 W. State Street, Hartford, WI. Interment St. Kilian Cemetery, Hartford, WI.
