Daniel spent his childhood in Minneapolis, Los Angeles and Salt Lake City. After graduating from Marshall University High School, he obtained a degree in social work from St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, in 1983. In May, 1992, Daniel was ordained and accepted his first pastoral call at Peace Lutheran Church in West Burlington, IA. He went on to serve four other churches: Trinity Lutheran, New Hampton, IA; Peace Lutheran, Burlington, WI; Zion Lutheran, Horicon, WI; and St. Michael’s Lutheran in Hustisford, WI. Daniel was a life-long learner and always eager to hone his skills. During his career, he obtained his Marriage and Family therapist license and continually pursued interests in theology, technology, photography, camping, and art.
