Richard Walter Jahnke

Richard W. Jahnke passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 unexpectedly at the age of 90 years at the Beaver Dam Health Care Center.  He was born on July 7, 1932, the son of Walter and Edna (nee Schuett) Jahnke.   

 He graduated from Juneau High School and attended some college.  Richard is a veteran, who served his country in the U.S. Air Force.  He worked for Juneau Wood Products and spent many years of retirement delivering the Daily Citizen newspaper. Richard enjoyed reading and numerous activities at the care center.  He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Juneau, Wisconsin.   Survivors include, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.  Preceded in death by his siblings, father, mother, a niece, and a nephew.

A Graveside service will be held at the Juneau City Cemetery on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.  Rev. David Brandt will officiate.

Memorials to St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Juneau, Wisconsin would be appreciated.
