Richardine J (nee Weidensee) Mishler

Richardine J. (nee Weidensee) Mishler, "Ricki," age 96 of Hartford, Wisconsin, was Born to Eternal Life on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, at the Gardens of Hartford.

Ricki was born September 25, 1928, in Milwaukee, WI to Kathryn (nee Halm) and Richard Weidensee. She grew up in the Milwaukee area, graduated from Pius XI High School then Mount Mary College, and completed her master’s at UW-Milwaukee. Ricki enjoyed her lifelong career teaching, retiring from Milwaukee Area Technical College in 1991. Ricki was united in marriage to Robert H. Mishler on August 18, 1951, at St. Sebastian's Catholic Church in Milwaukee. The couple resided in Milwaukee and began their family, then moved to Brown Deer and finally settled in Hartford, becoming long-time devoted members of St. Kilian Catholic Church. Ricki enjoyed spending time with family, reading, quilting, crocheting, gardening, and playing Scrabble. She will be remembered fondly by the countless quilts and afghans she gifted her friends and family. 

Ricki is survived by her loving children, Gregory (Pamela) of Port St. Lucie, FL; Steven (Margaret) of Briggsville, WI; Annette Mishler (Marlowe Kro) of Maple Grove, MN; and Paula (Mark) Bell of New Berlin, WI. She is further survived by 12 adored grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren (with another on the way) and special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Ricki was preceded in death by her parents; precious infant daughter, Mary Ann; beloved husband, Robert Mishler; dear son, James Mishler; and cherished daughter-in-law, Teresa Mishler.

Memorial Visitation for Ricki will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 9:30 a.m.-10:45 a.m. with Mass of Resurrection beginning at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Mike Petrie officiating, at St. Kilian Catholic Church, 264 W. State Street, Hartford, WI 53027. Committal service will take place in St. Kilian Catholic Church Cemetery. 

Memorials to Alzheimer’s Association for research, (ALZ.org) or American Heart Association (heart.org) are appreciated.
