Ronald N. Schmeling

Ronald N Schmeling passed away Friday January 31st 2025 at the age of 87 years. He was born September 3rd 1937 in Hustisford. He was the son of Walter and Clara (nee Bischoff). Ron attended a one room country grade school on highway 115 now known as Highway DJ. He graduated from Hustisford high school in 1956. He served his country in the United States Army. After the service he worked for various small companies in the Hustisford area, before working for the Milwaukee Road Railroad where he worked for over 30 years. Ron and his wife Elizabeth had a small farm just out of Hustisford Highway E. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, and hunting pheasants in South Dakota.

He is survived by his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Lynn and Mildred Bully and other relatives and friends.

Grave side service will be held Wednesday February 5th 2025 at 11:00AM at Lutheran Cemetery on Highway M Watertown.
