Shirley Mae (Krahn) Peters

Shirley M. Peters (nee Krahn) was called to her heavenly home on September 5, 2024, at the age of 87. She was the daughter of the late Lester and Virginia Krahn.    

Shirley lived her life to the absolute fullest, she always had several projects in the works, and she was very talented in her endeavors.  She could take an old, weathered piece of furniture and turn it into a piece of beauty.  Her seamstress and quilting skills were amazing.

Shirley was a gardener, landscaping and vegetable gardens thrived under her thumb.  

She was a good baker and cook.  Shirley was very proud of her partnering with Herb in their three home building projects. And not forgetting to mention she was a good golfer, bowler, and card player. She took joy in her many endeavors. She was compassionate and giving.  

Shirley was a loving wife to Herb, a proud grandmother and great- grandmother., and an amazing friend.  She is going to be missed by all.  I have no doubt that she will be looking after her loved ones from above.

Shirley is survived by her husband Herbert Peters, Daughter Dawn Davis, Son Brian Roethle, Stepchildren Mark Peters, Cathy Peters, Mike (Janyce) Peters, Dan (Cindy) Peters, and Barb (Andy) Bangsberg. 9 Grandchildren and 15 Great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Virginia, father, Lester and other relatives.

A Private Family Service will be held.
