Thomas F. Frank

Thomas F. Frank, age 87, of Hartford, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Majestic Heights in Hartford.

Tom was born August 12, 1937, in Milwaukee, WI to Marie (nee Geiger) and Joseph Frank. He was a lifelong resident of Hartford and enjoyed his neighbors and especially their dogs who he always had a treat for. Tom worked for and retired from American Motors in Milwaukee. He also owned and operated T & P Popcorn Stands in Menomonee Falls and Sussex with his co-owner and brother-in-law, Paul. In Tom’s younger years he enjoyed oil painting and building model boats, sailboats and ships, as well as operating them on water. Tom had a great sense of humor and made it a point to make sure everyone was happy and smiling and always joking around, often laughing at his own jokes. Among Tom’s passion of camcorders  was his collection of T.V.s that he had one in every room of his home. Tom was also a car enthusiast  who was known for his 73’ Corvette and  won many trophies at car shows for his hot rod 51’Mercury. He will be fondly remembered for his love of family and looked forward to their gatherings where he would be sure to capture many memories with his camcorder.

Tom is survived by his brother-in-law, Paul Zastrow, his dear nieces and nephews among many, many cherished great-nieces, great-nephews, and adored great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, among other loved relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Babette Zastrow, Maryann (Bruce) Poston, Michael (Mary Ann), and Joe Frank.

A Committal Service for Tom will be held Friday, January 17, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at St. Columba Cemetery in Richfield, WI (located on the corner of Hwy Q and State Hwy 164).

In memory of Tom, his love of life and helping others, memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in care of his family, are appreciated.
