Virginia Anne (Lynch) Calt

Virginia Anne Calt ,nee Lynch passed away on December 16, 2024 at the Serenity Villa in Slinger, Wisconsin. Virginia was formerly of Chicago but recently relocated to Wisconsin in 2022. Virginia was born in Elizabeth, Illinois on December 15, 1922 the daughter of Owen and Myrtle Lynch. She graduated from Elizabeth High School in 1940 and went on to Loyola University/St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing. She graduated in 1944 and began her employment with Bell & Howell Company in Chicago, Ill. as an R.N. in the Medical Department.

On July 12, 1955 she married Thomas H. Calt at St. Mary's Church in Elizabeth, Ill.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents Owen and Myrtle Lynch, her husband Tom and an older sister Catherine Lynch Mooney. 

She is survived by two nephew, Jack (Sue) Mooney and Michael (Judy) Mooney and eight grand nephews and 17 great-grand nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 23, 2024 at St. Mary's Church, Elizabeth, Ill. Interment at St. Mary's Church Cemetery.  Fr. Joachim Tytania.
