Wayne Sletten Sr. Obituary

Wayne Sletten of Hustisford passed away Thursday, May 22nd, 2025, at the age of 77 years. He was born the son of Orland and Ardith (nee Brandau) Sletten on August 13th, 1947.

Wayne loved to trap shoot and belonged to several gun clubs, in the Kettle Moraine area. Wayne was a CAD Drafter for Komatsu Mining Corp. He served his country in the United States Navy in the Vietnam War. Wayne enjoyed working with wood and metal which included building amazing structures and other projects for his wife. Wayne loved spending time with his special 4-legged best friend Bucky.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife Cindy (nee Lubbert). His loving children, Wayne Jr, Tracy and Tonya, and his precious grandchildren. Dear sister Luann (Gary) Huber. Loving sister-in-law Sharon Hext and brother-in-law Larry (Marcia) Lubbert. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.

Wayne is proceeded in death by his parents Orland and Ardith Sletten, mother and father-in-law, brother-in-law Doug, niece Megan Hext and Abbey Sauer.

Visitation is Friday, May 30th, 2025, from 9:30AM to 11:30 AM at Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home – Hartford. Funeral Service will follow at the funeral home at 11:30 AM. Rev. Jeremy Husby will officiate. Interment at Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Military Honors.
