William Raymond Dombeck

William R. Dombeck, of Iron Ridge, passed away peacefully April 1, at the age of 82 years.
Bill was born in Milwaukee on January 29th, 1941, the son of Harry A. and Almyra E. (nee Engler) Dombeck. He married LouAnn Harris in Tess Corners, WI on May 8th, 1965.

Bill grew up on the shore of Eagle Spring Lake where he became a fervent year-round outdoorsman. There he learned to fish, hunt, ice skate, swim, trap, and water ski. Across the lake at a small course, was where he learned to golf. He heartily shared his love for the outdoors with his wife, family, and many friends throughout his life.

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1959-1963. He was a member of Horicon American Legion Post #157.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. He is survived by his loving children, Paul (Mary) Dombeck, William R. Dombeck II, and Kristine (Jose) Colon, four grandchildren, Rebecca, Katelyn, Madelaine, and Alexander, two great grandchildren, Samantha and Aric, great-great grandchild, Callie, and his sister Eleanor as well as chosen children, grandkids, and other family and friends.
