Wilma Louise Lee, age 95, transitioned into Eternal Life on the afternoon of October 11, 2024 at her home in Juneau, Wisconsin.
She was born Wilma Louise Goetsch in Juneau, Wisconsin on May 11, 1929 the daughter of Elmer and Dorothy (nee Stein) Goetsch.
Wilma graduated from Juneau High School in 1947. Farmed for 29 years with first husband and children’s father Marcel W. Thoma. She was Certified as an Occupational Therapist and a Nursing Assistant. Worked at Clearview North for 19 years, the Kickapoo gas station for 7 years, supportive care for 25 years, Meals on wheels, Dodge County transportation, Sacred Heart Church Charity and St. Vincent De Paul store.
On November 4, 1980, Wilma married David James Lee.
Our Mother loved spending time with family, pets, gardening, reading, bird watching, baking and canning. She was extremely generous and always available to help anyone. She was especially fond of hanging out and napping at her retreat lot at Riverbend RV Resort.
Wilma is survived by her children, son Marcel (Fran Anderson) Thoma, daughter-in law Molly Thoma; and their children Marcus, Maja, Mathias & Max; daughter Mary (Joe Stewart) Adams; her daughter Margaret and stepson Geoffrey; son Mike (Sandy) Thoma; and their children Martin, Macie and Michael; daughter Martha (Thoma) Gabrich; her daughter Mariah Gensmer; daughter, Sally Thoma; and her daughter Miranda Thoma; daughter Melinda (Gordy) Hughes; brothers Elmer Goetsch, Albert Goetsch, Richard Goetsch and sister Patricia Kahlow; and further survived by 13 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Dorothy; adoring husbands, David and Marcel; sister, Phyllis Goetsch; brother, Robert Goetsch; sisters-in-law, Freda and Mary Goetsch; brother-in-law Teddy Kahlow; grandson Matthew Thoma.
Visitation is Monday, October 21, at Sacred Heart Parish, 950 Washington St. Horicon, WI, from 9 –11 am, with Mass of Resurrection to follow at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow the service. Burial will take place at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Juneau WI. at 1:30 p.m.
