Our sympathy to Evie's family. We came to know Evie after Warren moved to Marvin's Manor in June and sat at the same table with Evie for meals. We've had some great conversations with Evie and enjoyed her company, loved her singing, especially one song in particular that she sang many times while waiting for her dinner. She will be missed as she was a great lady.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Evelyn...sending you all my love. I have wonderful memories of going to your farm for family events when we were all very young. A couple years before my dad passed away, I went with him to visit Aunt Evelyn....it was a fun day! We decided to go out for lunch, I was driving. It amazed me that she gave me directions so precisely when to turn left and right and how far to go....when her sight was pretty much gone! I am unable to come to her funeral....but I know we'll have lots of time to reconnect and talk and tell stories when we're all together again in our Eternal Home. Christmas may be a hard time to go through a death, but it's also a time to praise God for sending Jesus so we truly never die. Our last breath on earth just begins our first breath of all eternity!
