Just learned about this today. (Fri. 2/3/17 ... well after the fact.) From The Juneau Independent.

I do remember Mary, as I do all of the Becker (Manning) family, from my days in Juneau. (John, Mary's brother, was my Godfather.) Yes ... I'm a Manning (via Florence Clifford), meaning I'm a cousin to all.

Been a tough year for the Becker family. First Gene, and now Mary. So there's only Bernadine left from the nuclear family.

To all the surviving children and grandchildren, know that yours is a wonderful family, which has touched so many lives, and left cherished memories, no matter how long ago.

Thoughts and prayers for all.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of Kate's family at the passing of this wonderful woman. I had the privilege of getting to know Kate during the years that I taught at Juneau Elementary; she was such a sweet lady and a devoted mother to her children--as well as an aunt to so many nieces and nephews. I'm sure so many in the Puls/Becker/Richards family will miss her very much.
Sincerely,

Sandy, Barb and Ken,

I was sorry to learn of your Mother's death. I will always remember sitting on her porch steps on warm summer nights. She was a beautiful and kind woman!

Susan and I will move back to Wisconsin this summer after living in Atlanta for 33 years. We're looking forward to it.

Regards, Mike
